Yokohama Pottery Festival

■Content Yokohama Pottery Festival

In addition to the display of pottery works by students, there are pottery workshops, a pottery market and much more.
Pottery workshops include (A) Hand formed pottery (tebineri) (B) pottery using an electric potters’s wheel (dendo-rokuro), and (C) painting on hand-molded earthenware (rakuyaki). *workshops will be conducted in Japanese.
Limit: 8-10 people/workshop
Eligibility for the workshops:
(A) Elementary school age and up. Pre-school children can attend only when being accompanied by an adult.
(B) Elementary school age and up.
Date&Time: from Nov.3 (Fri) to Nov.6 (Mon); 10:00-16:00 (*till 15:00 on Nov.6)
Location: Yokohama-shi Togei Center (Take a bus from JR Negishi Stn. Get off at Makado Shogakko Mae)
Fee: (A) 1,000 yen (B) 2,000 yen (C) 1,000 yen
To Apply: Please go directly to the location. For pottery workshops, apply at the center on the day of the event. You can also apply by RPP (E, A, N, T, G, and Kind of workshop) to 〒231-0824 Naka-ku, Hommoku Sannotani 59-3 Togei Center.
