There will be a lottery held for placement and also for a place on the primary waiting list to fill vacant apartments for elderly people. These apartments are designed to provide a safe environment for senior citizens over 60, including barrier-free amenities and emergency call services. *There will be no nursing care. *An income-dependent rent subsidy is available.
Lottery: ①59 units in Seya-ku, Seya (should be available in Dec. 2012) ②45 units in Tsurumi-ku, Tsurumi chuo (should be available in Jan. 2013)
From the waiting list: *Housing will be available in the case of a vacancy between Aug. 2012 and Jul. 2013. ③34 units within the City of Yokohama ④1 unit in Minami-ku, Tori-cho and 1 unit in Izumi-ku, Okatsu-cho
Eligibility: People who are living or working in Yokohama and are 60 yrs or over at the time of application.
