Goodwill Ambassadors wanted for Port Opening Festival

Female Goodwill Ambassadors are wanted for participation in promotional activities and events for the Port Opening Festival. Goodwill Ambassadors will be asked to do the following:
①Promotional Activities
From the beginning of May until the end of the festival, go to various places to promote for the Port Opening Festival, mainly on weekends and holidays.
②At Port Opening Festival (June 1-2)
Work as one of the staff members (i.e. Information desk help, etc.)
③Radio and TV correspondence/ Interviews with magazines etc
Limit: 25 people *Chosen by screening
Eligibility: Female 18yrs. and above (no high school students)
Date: Sat. Sun. and Holiday between Apr.29 and Jun.2. Total of 17days
Location: Various places in City of Yokohama (Department stores, amusement parks, train stations, etc.)

Volunteer wanted for the 28th Port Opening Festival

Volunteers are wanted for various events at the 28th Port Opening Festival.
Limit: 100 people/ day *Chosen by screening
Eligibility: Since all the activities are being held outside, applicants 18yrs and older who are healthy and energetic. Must be able to attend meetings in early May. (date and location undecided)
Date&Time: Jun.1 (Mon) and Jun.2 (Tue) ;8:00-17:00 *Time will depend on event.
*Cancelled in case of inclement weather.
Location: MM21 Area, Rinko Park and the Area around.

Nippon Maru Renewal Opening

Nippon maru will hold a renewal opening on Mar.31 as one of the commemorative projects for the 150th Anniversary of the Port Opening.
Explanation panels are being refurbished, celebrating Nippon Maru’s history and detailing life aboard the ship.
