One-Day Pass for the Municipal Bus

Why not make use of the new system? This pass allows unlimited usage of the Municipal Bus in the Honmoku area on the 26 & 54 routes, from 10:00 to 16:00 everyday. It also offers discounts at some area restaurants and other facilities.

Subsidy for Kindergarten Fees 

Subsidies between \48,000 and \194,200(determined by resident tax paid in 2007) will be offered for kindergarten children who have begun enrollment in private kindergarten programs between June 2 and Nov.1, 2008.
To Apply: Fill out an application form and submit kindergarten. Forms will be available beginning the middle of November at each kindergarten.

Research on Asbestos

The Ministry of Environment has provided a trust to fund research into the health effects related to asbestos exposure.
Eligibility: One who lives in Yokohama and desires to take this test, or one who has lived in Tsurumi-ward before 1988. (This study will not cover workers who have Kenko-Kanri handbooksl)

Application for Public Housing for Elderly People

There will be a lottery drawn from a primary waiting list to fill vacant apartments at Kitahassaku-cho, Midori-ku). Apartments are designed to provide a safe and accessible environment for senior citizens, complete with emergency call services. Subsidy for rent available depending on the income. *There is no nursing care.
