“Bosai Kunren” Disaster Prevention Training

City of Yokohama Disaster Prevention Training Organization needs foreign reporters! Experience firsthand what it feels like to drive during a strong earthquake in a special training vehicle, and also what it would be like to live in a school building shelter in the event of a disaster. We will present you some survival emergency rations and \1,000 to report about the experience in your native language. Interpretation will be available.

Donations towards the 2007 Niigata Chuetsu Offshore Earthquake

Niigata Prefecture, the Japan Red Cross Niigata Branch and the Niigata Prefecture Kyodo Bokin Kai (Community Chest of Niigata Prefecture) are now accepting donations to help those affected by the recent earthquake.
Donation towards the earthquake will reach those affected or be used for reconstruction projects run by the government.
