Guided Tours by KSGF

The Kanagawa Student Guide Federation (KSGF) established in 1973 is a student- oriented volunteer group that offers guided tours to Kamakura and Yokohama for foreigners. The Federation is now oriented by about 100 students of 4 universities in Yokohama.
Participating universities: Kanagawa University, Ferris University, Yokohama City University, and Yokohama National University
Principal Guided Courses:
①Kamakura: Tsuruoka Hachimangu Shrine→Kotokuin (Buddha statue)→Hase Temple
②Yokohama: Sankei-en garden→Minatono Mieru Oka Koen→China Town→Yamashita Park→Yokohama Bay Bridge
To Apply: ①For Kamakura Tour: On Sat. Sun. and holidays, members will be waiting at the east exit of Kamakura station between 10:00-12:00. Look for a member holding a blue flag with “Kanagawa Student Guide Federation”. You can also make an appointment ahead of time by contacting the number below.
②For Yokohama Tour: Tours will be conducted by appointments only. Please book ahead of time.
*No tours provided during Exams and New Year’s holiday season. The schedule is valid till end of March, 2012.
