①A Movie, “Housework during the Showa Period”
This is a documentary film in which you can learn Japanese traditional ways of doing housework, manners including body movements and polite language.

②Let’s try Bon Odori
Bon Odori is one of the most common traditional dances in Japan, held during Obon period in the summertime. Learn it, and enjoy dancing! Rental of Yukata is available.

This is a beginner’s course for those who have recently arrived in Japan, and would like to get a good start in a Japanese-speaking environment.

The U.S. Navy Negishi Housing will celebrate its annual Friendship Day. It is an open gate festival.
A full day of activities and entertainment is planned including the U.S. Military Band performance and American food stand.
