Participants Wanted for Citizens’ Choir

As one of the main events during the Port Opening Festival on Jun.2 (Sat), the event team is planning a concert by the choir group composed of Yokohama citizens. It is called “Dream of Harmony”, and the plan is to make a choir of 1,000 citizens, wishing that the harmony could be heard by people in the earthquake affected areas.
Eligibility: Yokohama citizens, from elementary school age children to adults, male and female.

Practice Session Dates: Every Saturday in April, and Apr.22 (Sun), May13, 20, 26, and 31.

Learn About Fossils!

In this workshop, you will hear a lecture by students from Yokohama Science Frontier High School. They will be using real fossils in their lecture. You will also make fossil replicas such as ammonite and others. The lecture is geared towards elementary and middle school children.

Japan-Korea Dance Exchange Project: Two Aspects

This is a performance by two award winning choreographers from Japan and Korea. Come and experience a contemporary dance performance which is a product of idea exchange and inspiring and being inspired by dancing techniques from artists of two different cultural backgrounds.
