Events at Kanazawa Zoo

①Black Rhinoceros Calf Campaign
As a campaign to support a hand-raised black rhinoceros calf, admission will be free to those who use the coupon available from the zoo website. One coupon allows up to five people to enter the zoo free. You may not use it for groups over 20 people. There will also be a panel exhibition and a record of the hand-raising of the calf.

Port City Yokohama: Navigator of Modern Japan

As the top trading port in Japan, Yokohama led Japan in its journey to open up the country to western culture and to modernization. The exhibition shows this role of Yokohama through records which the museum has collected over the last 30 years.

Special Exhibition at Yokohama History Museum

“Hodogaya Juku” is the 4th station on the Tokaido Road. Over 150 pictures, ukiyoe, and documents are displayed, showing the history of the “Hodogaya Juku” since it was first opened in 1601.
