The third Monday of September is Respect-for-Senior-Citizens Day. During this week, facilities in Yokohama are offering complimentary entrance and other services for the elderly.
Eligibility: 65 yrs and older who show Hama-tomo card or other ID which show your age. For Fureyu, please bring your Health Insurance Card or other ID which show that you are 60 yrs and older.

①Disaster Prevention Workshop for Foreigners
This is an excellent chance to learn how to act when you suddenly experience an earthquake or other natural disasters. The lecture will be given by the Konan Fire Department.

②Cooking Lesson Using Kanten
Kanten (agar) is a gelatinous substance made from seaweed. It is rich in fiber, so is very good for your diet. In this lesson, you will learn to make chirashi-zushi with kanten, baked eggplant in jelly, and a dessert using black sesame.
