Yokohama Photo Festival 2013

An exciting photography event is coming back again this year! The Festival is composed of several different events, such as a portfolio review, where professional photographers review the works of amateur photographers, an exhibition, a symposium, and so on.

The 23rd Yokohama City Walk

Walk through the city of Yokohama and enjoy the scenery! The entries are for 10km, 15km, 20km, or 30km.

Location: Bashamichi Stn on the Minatomirai Line
Fee: \1,500 for adults, \500 for elementary and junior high school students

In this regularly scheduled concert, there will be original brass band music, in addition to the stage drilling performance by Port Angels 119.

Let’s Learn from an Astronaut

This is a science workshop for children: Let’s learn from Naoko Yamazaki ,an astronaut, about what made her aim to be an astronaut.

At Yokohama History Museum

Under the theme of “The Daily Life and Social History of Yokohama”, Yokohama History Museum exhibits historical items of the city area over 20,000 years. On the weekend of the Museum’s opening anniversary, admission will be free, and there will be events that everyone can enjoy.
