Yokohama Jazz Promenade 2009

The biggest jazz festival in Japan is coming back. It will take place for two days at approx. 120 halls and clubs. More than 2,000 musicians, both professionals and amateurs, will participate.

Location: Kannai Hall Dai Hall, Yokohama Akarenga Soko 1 gokan, and others. Venues may change depending on the weather. (Kannai Stn or Sakuragi-cho Stn on JR or Municipal Subway, Bashamichi Stn or Minatomirai Stn on Minatomirai Line)

Participants wanted for Yokohama Life Design Fair 2009

This is an event designed for people from the baby boom generation (those 50 years and older) and who are thinking about life after retirement. There are workshops and mini concerts by baby boomers (for baby boomers). Performers wanted. *Musicians Without Borders (NPO), will also perform with handmade instruments.
