②International Exchange Cooking Class: Nescafe Coffee Lesson
Enjoy and discover how to make a nice cup of coffee by just using instant coffee powder. The instructor will also introduce a mocha coffee recipe and a recipe for a simple dessert.

③Computer Course for Foreigners
In this 8-day course you will learn: basic computer operations, Microsoft Word (making name cards, postcards and flyers), Microsoft Excel (making household accounts book, name list and calendars) and an introduction to the internet.
Date&Time of the Orientation Session: Jan.10, 13:30-14:00 *Please bring your own computers if you wish to practice with your own computer.
Dates&Time of the Course: Jan.17, 24, 31, Feb. 7, 14, 21, 28, Mar.7; 13:30-15:00
Fee: \4,000 for the entire course *Please note that this fee cannot be reimbursed once it is paid.

Participate in this unique event of walking up all 335 steps to the observation deck! If you make it to the top only using the stairs, you will get a special pin that is only given to successful challengers. You can also enjoy a stamp rally while you walk up the steps. *Children under pre-school age should be accompanied by adults.

There will be a birthday party for one of the zoo’s popular animals, a two-humped camel, Tsugaru. Her 37th birthday is assumed to be the oldest of its kind and it will be equaled to over 100 years old in human age. After celebrating her birthday with a special birthday cake made by zookeepers, there will be a special guided tour.

This “Yokohama Forest Fun School” is one of the new projects the City of Yokohama is promoting. Working together with universities in Yokohama, this is an event to learn about the environment, mainly organized by university students. There will craft classes and a talk show by a gardener who you often see on TV.
